Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the Avatara Resort. The rooms were excellent and clean, but I faced issues with maintenance that affected my stay. The location is beautiful right by the beach, and the breakfast offered great views, though it could be warmer. Overall, while the staff was lovely and the resort had a pleasant vibe, the high costs and some maintenance issues made my visit less ideal.
The resort offers spacious and clean rooms, making it a decent value for the money. Its location is fantastic, close to vibrant nightlife and dining options, but unfortunately, the dining experience leaves much to be desired, especially with the beach dogs roaming around. Additionally, the beach itself suffers from debris in the water, which can detract from what could be an amazing beach experience.
I had a wonderful dining experience at the Jeap restaurant, where the food was delicious and served quickly by the attentive staff. However, my stay at the Avatara Resort was a bit disappointing due to maintenance issues and higher prices compared to the mainland. Despite the lovely beach and the clean, comfortable room, I felt the resort could use some improvement in upkeep and pricing.
I found the hotel has some great attributes like proximity to the beach and a spacious, clean room. However, there were significant downsides, such as inconvenient room design and maintenance issues that made the overall experience less enjoyable. Although the price seemed reasonable, I expected better quality given the room's features and amenities.
While I found the hotel to be in a lovely area, the overall experience was quite mixed. The rooms were clean and spacious, which I appreciated, but the dining options left something to be desired. The beachfront location was fantastic, but the uphill access to the rooms was quite inconvenient. I would consider alternatives next time based on my experience here.
